Oh honey honey

Honey is my ultimate lifesaver during the winter months. Not only am I practically drowning my tea bags in it to scare away sore throats, I'm also religiously coating it all over my face. (Which is actually pretty wonderful once you can get past the weird stickiness.) Add in a little bit of cinnamon and baking soda, and you have a face mask perfect for reviving dry & acne prone skin!

What You'll Need:

-1 Tablespoon of Honey

-1 Teaspoon of Baking Soda

-1/2 Teaspoon of Cinnamon

-Bowl and spoon for mixing

Step One: Pour 1 tablespoon of honey into a bowl or onto a plate.

Step Two: Mix in 1 teaspoon of baking soda and 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon.

Step Three: Apply evenly onto your face.

Step Four: Let sit for 15-20 minutes, rinse off with warm water, and then apply moisturizer! And Voila! Lovely, moisturized skin awaits you.

I've learned from experience that this process is much more fun if you're jamming out to music, while laughing at the honey all over your friend's faces.

Or if you're looking for a bit more of a relaxing time, then take this fifteen minutes to do something for yourself. Light a candle, make some tea, read a book, etc. A winter of self love is coming your way!

P.S. While you're rinsing off the face mask, massage the water in circles over your face, because baking soda makes for a lovely exfoliant.
